The Pirouz Softlight P-1 Projector is a professional lighting fixture designed for video production and cinematographic applications. With a maximum output of up to 1500 watts via independently switched dual lamp sockets, it delivers a powerful yet controlled soft lighting source suitable for both studio and location work.
The softlight output is produced through an aluminized, fire-resistant Nomex reflector housing, engineered for high durability and consistent light diffusion. This makes it particularly well-suited for illuminating facial features with a soft, natural appearance. The fixture can be used effectively as a key light, fill light, side light, top light, or background light, depending on production requirements.
For light shaping and control, the unit is equipped with four robust barn doors made from impact-resistant material, mounted on all sides of the fixture. The upper and lower barn doors include integrated gel clips, allowing the use of colored diffusion gels for creative lighting effects.
The Pirouz Softlight P-1 offers 360° tilt capability, providing maximum flexibility in positioning and beam direction. It is compatible with a range of lamp types recommended by Pirouz Movie Tech Company, provided both lamps share identical specifications for balanced output.
The fixture can be easily mounted on the Pirouz Projector Tripod as well as other standard tripod systems. For transportation and storage, a dedicated protective carrying bag is also available.
