The Pirouz Pro Pedestal is a fully functional portable studio pedestal designed for professional broadcast and film production environments. Engineered for large payload configurations of up to 80 kg, it offers high stability and smooth operation for modern studio cameras, including large broadcast systems and teleprompter setups.
This pedestal is designed to work seamlessly with a wide range of professional equipment, including heavy-duty fluid heads and advanced digital camera systems. Its extended, fully balanced stroke allows operators to maintain stable framing while transitioning smoothly between seated and standing talent positions during live or recorded production.
A key feature of the system is its integrated air inlet valve, which allows connection to various air sources for fast and efficient balancing. This ensures consistent “perfect balance” performance with simplified pressure adjustment. A built-in pressure gauge provides clear and accurate monitoring during setup, improving safety and operational reliability.
The modular skid design allows the pedestal to be separated into two main sections, enabling compact storage and easier transportation between locations. For operator convenience, an integrated storage area is also included within the structure.
Mobility is enhanced through a selectable steering system, offering both single-wheel and all-wheel crab steering modes. This makes the pedestal highly maneuverable in tight studio environments and allows precise directional changes while maintaining smooth on-shot movement.
